Hello, friends.

We warmly extend a heartfelt and joyful invitation to you and yours in joining us and our celebration of our birthdays. It’s no small feat surviving 25 years. The past quarter century saw the arrival of seizure-inducing japanimation, proliferation of carcinogenic artificial sweeteners, and the dreaded SARS. Compound those dangers with the acquired alcoholism of college, predisposition of sickle cell (just one of us), and the struggles of just being Black in America (again, just one of us), it’s nothing short of a minor miracle that the two of us stand before you good people today as happy, healthy, functional adults.

Somberisms aside, it’s time to celebrate. Warm our cockles and grace us with your presence on this particular November evening. We’ll begin with a progressive at our gracious friends’ townhouse a shade north of Dupont. The progressive will be overstocked with shooters and 90’s pop music. As long as love and liquor lasts, we’ll jam out to the musical stylings of KC & JoJo and TLC while swirling vodka and whipped cream in our collective mouths.

ChurchKeys is a bar roughly 200ft away from the aforementioned townhouse with unbeatable deals on otherwise unfindable beers. Yelp it. After this brief stop to infuse class and dignity to the drinking experience, we shall away to Rumors Restaurant & Saloon for pumped up jams and probably a dance circle of colossal proportions. You should probably start practicing your House Party Kid n Play routine now.
